針對網路社群轉載消防員在泰豐輪胎廠火災事件後被派去清洗學校操場一事，桃園市政府新聞處長張惇涵18日回應，軍公教築巢優利貸泰豐輪胎火災所造成附近學校的碳黑粒子落塵，由消防局支援水車清理，才能儘速完成災後清理及復原工作，讓學子們上課不受影響，這也是救災復原工作的一環。

消防局長胡英達也認為，消防員在泰豐輪胎廠火災事件後協助清洗學校操場，這是救災工作的一環，同時大量清洗需要水車，因此，在不影響其他防救災任務之下，早上8點30分換班後，由另外一組同仁協助災後復原，這是消防局的責任。

張惇涵表示，泰豐輪胎廠重大火災事件過後，仍有許多災後清理及復原工作必需進行，火災所造成的碳黑粒子落塵嚴重影響學校、公園、市區、農田及住宅；市長鄭文燦18日一早與教育局長高安邦、衛生局副局長陳世璋視察中壢國中時，便指示由中壢、平鎮清潔中隊以及支援的消防局水車，進行清洗作業，清洗範圍以學校及公園優先。

鄭文燦深知救災與復元工作的辛苦，也再次感謝消防人員的無私付出，也期盼市府團隊共同努力，讓災後復原的工作即早完成，讓市民及學生及早回復正常生活。

張惇涵說，這次火災延燒超過6小時，市府消防局在接獲通報後，總計動員了95輛救災車輛、433名救災人力（含義消及各支援單位）前往搶救，市長也即時趕赴現場了解狀況，指示救災、疏散及安置等各項工作。
